Trouble in Minnesota or Just a Rocky Start?

Updated: Oct 14, 2024

1-0-(2) through the first week of regular season hockey following a more than promising preseason, could Minnesota expect any less? With the 5-0 Minnesota Vikings led by Quarterback Sam Darnold entering their bye week, hopeful fans around the North Star state gathered to watch the beginning to a much needed playoff producing season for the Minnesota Wild.

Aside from two debilitating injuries for any Minnesota fan to see among that of #14 Ek and Captain Jared Spurgeon, in which D-man Jake Middleton Stated ""We just want those guys to get healthy"-via Minnesota Wild there is a light within the tunnel for Forward Matt Boldy producing a handful of points in his first week; accompanied by Mats Zuccarello manning himself a number of points. Star forward Kirill Kaprisov despite a slow first game has seemingly picked up the pace through the following two games.

Is this season going to fall short like far too many for Minnesota Wild fans or are we just seeing a rocky start?

Minnesota Wild Head Coach John Hynes although is still unclear about the return of the two fallen players, he has remained adamant the remaining lineup is nothing short of a playoff contender and can carry themselves through the short roster.
