Vice President Kamala Harris's First Formal Sit-Down Interview with Fox News: What Can We Expect?

Vice President and Presidential candidate Kamala Harris has agreed to do a full sit-down interview with Fox News. This will be her first with the right-wing leaning news network

The interview is set to take place this Wednesday, Oct. 16, in Pennsylvania. Bret Baier, Fox's head politcal anchor will be conducting the interview.

This interview is particularly significant given the left-wing Vice President's reluctance to participate in interviews, nonetheless with a particularly conservative media source.

Although Harris' media outings have increased, with appearances on "60 Minutes", "The Howard Stern Show" and more, does this prove any governmental competence?

Or can this be attributed to a last-ditch media training and volume increase in hopes to pad her public opinion in contrast to her opponent?

While her reluctance to participate in interviews has been attributed to incompetence and aloofness by some, others criticize her opponent and former president Donald Trump for similar hesitancies.

The former president recently withdrew from a scheduled 60 minutes interview, and has consistently spoken against the possibility of a second presidential debate.

Many consider Donald Trump to be more competent politically given his experience as President, citing perceived stability and a better economy under his presidency.

With Vice President Harris' Fox interview nearing, what can we expect this Wednesday? Surely Fox News will not be presenting her with questions that benefit her image, but they must remain as bipartisan as possible to conduct a transparent interview.

Other news sources that previously hosted Harris have been accused of tailoring the interview questions to her benefit.

We cannot know for sure, so must ask ourselves is there intentional partisanship behind that? Or is it simply another perspective asking the questions?

While we cannot predict how the interview will proceed this Wednesday, it surely will be a key moment in this tight presidential race. Will Kamala blunder or will she show she has what it takes to run this country in such a critical time?
